It was the most beautiful full circle moment to have Hernan shoot our wedding photos after taking a styled wedding shoot of us 6yrs prior. Hernan is not only the most incredible human being, he is an incredible photographer who has truly perfected his craft. He has an amazing way of capturing the moment. As I go through all of the photos he took from our wedding day, all the emotions rush back because through his photos I feel that moment all over again. As a bride, you are so worried that maybe you didn't get "the photo" or "enough photos" as the day flies by. When Hernan sent me the album of our wedding day, I was absolutely floored. Every photo that I ever dreamed of was in the album - I DONT KNOW HOW HE DOES IT. Hernan got every photo and captured every single emotion from that day so beautifully. He is so organized and detail oriented it made my husband and I feel so at peace. The day of, he had our photography list ready to go and was running through the family photos like the nicest drill sergeant you ever did meet. He makes you feel comfortable and confident – the ultimate hype man. He feels like family and your family will absolutely adore him – my mom won’t stop talking about him. Hernan is so much more than a photographer, he is full of love and light. Our photos are perfect and Hernan was amazing to deal with from beginning to end. He went above and beyond for us in so many ways and his talent is honestly INSANE. He did everything in his power to give us amazing wedding photos and our wedding video is just as wonderful. The colors of the video match his photos perfectly so we have this one seamless experience and its just SO GOOD. I'm a wedding photographer myself so trust me when I say I have HIGH STANDARDS. LIKE I probably drove him crazy once or twice and he literally just said no problem and took care of us without a second thought. We have SO much love for him!! rtable. John and I no longer live in Florida, so we had our initial meeting over Skype and even over a camera he made us feel like we had been friends for a while. He is honestly amazing at what he does, some would say he is a wizard (I mean I would say he is a wizard, because his pictures are honestly magical). He is amazing at customer service and is very quick to pick up the phone and call or text you if you need anything and you are curious about anything. He made the day seamless and I mean everyone from our wedding was talking about how fun he was. So again, hire him if you get the chance. You will not regret it.

We love his use of lighting and again can’t get enough of those candid moments! on't give this compliment lightly. My husband and I were lucky enough to work with Hernan for our engagement photos in a snowstorm in Chicago, IL, and for our wedding in spring of 2017 in WI. During our engagement session, he made it clear that he isn't just looking to earn a paycheck, but that he is passionate about his work and learning what makes each couple tick. His style is exactly what we were looking for, he captured so many moments we didn't know we desired. He tackled our never ending list of combinations of family and friends with the grace and authority that was necessary to get 215 people to take direction. We are so grateful we chose Hernan to capture the most special day of our lives, and to have his photographs to relive our day over and over again. We signed a contract with a professional, and walked away with a new friend.

azing Hernan is! I had the wedding of my dreams but like most weddings…there were a few hiccups and Hernan was my calm in the mini storm. Our Videographer we booked unexpectedly got sick the day before our wedding and was unable to book his flight from FL to our wedding location in IL. But Hernan, being the amazing guy he is, never skipped a beat and found an amazing videographer couple who did a beautiful job! Secondly my morning was very chaotic and while I was extremely rushed you wouldn’t have a clue looking at my photos because he calmed the room and got a genuine smile out of me amid my panic! Lol My family is a bunch of loud mouths and lets just say Hernan is a miracle worker getting everyone to pay attention and was able to get EVERY photo I asked him to. He did this all with professionalism and genuine kindness. If you choose to work with Hernan he won’t just feel like your wedding photographer…he will feel like your bestfriend. Photographs are really all you have left after your wedding is over and I knew I wanted the very best photos that would end up being passed down through generations. These photos that I received today literally brought tears to my eyes while I relived the best day of my life. If you want photos that capture real life, real love, and real emotion please do yourself a favor and hire Hernan. He truly is the best of the very best!

or 8 hours we received a 4-minute highlight film of our wedding. I didn't think 8 hours of coverage would give an outcome of 4 minutes of video. The film missed many key points and had many dark shots that shouldn't have been in the film. After addressing this with Hernan, he agreed to make the corrections that I had requested because he wanted to make things right. I sent him a detailed list of what we were looking for, and he said he would take care of it. Hernan promised that he would make things right for us, but then after time went by with no updates, I would continue to request a time frame, and Hernan would tell me the same thing that its wedding season and he was very busy. To this day we never received the updated video Hernan said he would do. All that we recently received was a general release waiver that he requested we should sign and then he would give us our raw, UNEDITED wedding video footage. If we signed this waiver that stated we could not negatively review Hernan online or speak about our negative experience with him, then he would give us our raw wedding video footage. I chose not to sign his waiver so that I could share my negative experience online. I had to sacrifice my wedding video to show how unprofessional someone can be. It's very sad that I won't have a wedding video. Hernan will more than likely respond in a negative way to this review but that only shows his unprofessionalism.

e video. Totally unprofessional in the manner with which he dealt with this. Told me as the mother of the bride I was not the client well I guess I was when we were paying for it!!! Hope people read my review and think twice about using him. As you can see Hernan never says anything about the video which was the main problem and was the one thing we asked him to fix. No one said you didn’t do a lot of great pictures why don’t you post the link for video and let people judge that!!! And the problem is you Hernan we had a phone conversation and you said how you couldn’t believe how that picture was over looked and what could you do to make it better! Of course the bride “ran upstairs as you said and didn’t want people to see her’! And where is Will the one who took the video??? Of course you will never be honest but hopefully people see that you didn’t make this right it could have be fixed very easily but you chose not to be bothered! You can stop responding as it just shows how truly unprofessional you are. To anyone that is reading this I had to edit it to response to his nasty remarks which I reported to The Knot.

Even though it was our first time meeting in person, immediately we felt like we were just hanging out with a friend and we still keep in touch often with Hernan today. What can you expect from Hernan? First and foremost, the most beautiful photos of your wedding. And I'm talking about classy, artistic, fashion magazine-caliber pictures. My (now) wife and I are from NYC and have many artistic, photographer friends. Hernan is the best of the bunch. Second, you can expect amazing service. Hernan always made a point to respond on the same day of ANY inquiry or call. This level of responsiveness is impressive considering how busy he is and how important it is for you to coordinate all the moving parts of your special day. Third, you can expect a caring person who understands how important this decision and day is to you....and who reciprocates with equal care to make sure your day is perfect. As evidence, I think it appropriate to describe just how much Hernan cares. My wife and I had a specific photo scene we wanted midway through the wedding. Unfortunately, mother nature had other plans the evening of our wedding. Hernan gladly traveled multiple hours the following day just to make sure we were able to capture this one specific photo!! How caring and amazing is that?/ I know you have many choices for photographers and it can be quite stressful. But if you are lucky enough to book Hernan, it will be a decision you will be grateful to have made forever!!
